problem solving question-if ashton gives gaby an apple, they both have the same amount. I gaby gives ashton an apple then ashton has twice as many apples? how is that possible

line 1: a-1=g+1 or a=g+2

line 2: a+1=2(g-1)

(g+2)+1=2g-2

2+1=g-2

g=5

a=g+2=7
