I need to graph: y=2/3x+1 -6+9y=18 is this a straight line or curved & how do I solve this?

My dad tried to help me w/ this.The teacher said it was a straight line but he says it is curved.

yu hav 2 equashuns & both=strate lines

so objekt is tu find weer 2 lines hit...the point kommon tu 2 lines

line 1: y=92/3)x +1

line 2: 9y-6=18...this is the eezeeer won

9y=24, so y=24/9=2.666666...

this is horizontal line (y=konstant)

bak tu line 1...we no y=2.6666, so 2.6666=(2/3)x+1

or (2/3)x=2.66666-1  =1.666666

so x=(3/2)*(1.66666)=1.5*1.66666=

x=2.5

point weer 2 lines hit=(2.5,2.666666)
