The larger circle has diameter AB of length 9-5=4 units, the smaller circle has diameter TU of length 8-6=2. The centre of the combined circles is halfway between A and B and T and U=(9+5)/2 and (6+8)/2=7 (x coord). So the common centre is (7,8).
