Seems to me you're asking: 3x(squared) +14x-192=0

=(3x+32)(x-6). If you FOIL, you'll get your original problem.

1.)3x+32=0(move 32 to the other side of the equation)          

2.) x-6=0(move -6 to the other side of the equation)

3x=-32/3                     x=6
