A + B = 76..........(1)

A - B = 38.........(2)

Then subract equation (2) to eguation (1)

A + B =  76

-A + B = - 38                 ( Change signs of the second equation i.e equation (2)

2B = 38           (Divide both sides by 2)

b= 19

then substitute b = 19 in equation (1)

A + B = 76

A + 19= 76

A = 76 - 19

A = 57

THEN PUT A AND B INTO I.E GIVEN EGUATION

A / B = ?

57 / 19 = 3
