Becky bought sage bushes and rosemary bushes to plant in her backyard. She bought 12 bushes and paid $88.00 for them. The sage cost $12 each and the rosemary bushes cost $5 each. How many of each kind does she buy?

s=12-r

12s+5r=88

12(12-r)+5r=88
