Hi, my name is Morgan, and I'm a seventh grader in GT. I'm great at like every subject except math, so here's my question:

How do you solve an equation with two variables?

Now, this can be confusing. You may think I mean something like this: x + 4 - y = 8. But, in fact, I mean something like this: 7r + 16 = 3r +24. My math teacher is sort of boring, and I felt like I was falling asleep this class period, therefore I have no clue as to how to solve this. Please help as soon as possible.

I need this answer by 10/31/11.
