sqrt(25x + 50) - sqrt(x + 2)

factor out the 25 like this:

sqrt( 25(x+2) ) - sqrt(x+2)

the 25 can come outside of the square root like this:

5sqrt(x+2) - sqrt(x+2)

5 things - 1 thing = 4 things

4sqrt(x+2)
