p/q=6/3=2, so 7p=6(p/q)2-2q, 42=6×4-6=18, so the equation is false.

Perhaps the expression should be 7p-6(p/q)2-2q=42-24-6=12.

Or maybe 7p+6(p/q)2-2q=42+24-6=60.
