at (0,0)&(-1/2,0)


Solution:-

 due to curve is touching X-axis ,at that points y=0

=>4x^2+2x=0

=>x(4x+2)=0

therefore,x=0 or x=-1/2

so at x=0 and at x=-1/2 the curve touches the x-axis

so the curve intersects the x-axis at the points (0,0),(-1/2,0)
