2√(4y+5)=5√(y+4)

         2/5 = √ {(y+4)/(4y+5)}

(2/5)^2   = [ √(y+4)/(4y+5)  ]^2        square root on both the sides

4/25       =  (y+4)/(4y+5)                   now cross multiply

4 (4y+5) = 25 (y+4)                          open the brackets

16y+20 =   25y+100                       take the y's on 1 side

16y-25y = 100-20

-9y         = 80

     y        =  -80/ 9             Answer..............................hope it helps      :)
