A. The triangles are not similar, nor are they triangles, because sinU and sinQ would exceed 1. Sin36=0.59 approximately, so 2sin36=1.18 and 17/9sin36=1.11. QR and UV are too short to meet there supposedly adjacent sides. There is no vertex Q or U. The ratio of the lines QR and RS is 1:2, while the ratio of UV:VT is 9:17, so there's no scaling factor either.
