                    2x      -1   (quotient)

6x2+7x-1 ) 12x3  +8x2

                -(12x3+14x2-2x)

                            -6x2+2x

                               -(-6x2-7x+1)

                                    9x-1 (remainder)

CHECK DIVISION: (2x-1)(6x2+7x-1)+9x-1=12x3+14x2-2x-6x2-7x+1+9x-1=12x3+8x2✔️

The expression becomes 2x-1+(9x-1)/(6x2+7x-1).
