What is 7/9-3/5=

The two fractions are: 7/9 and 3/5.

Give them both a common denominator by finding the LCM (least common multiple) of the two denominators.

The denominators are 9 and 5. Their LCM is 45.

Make both denominators equal to 45 by mutiplying top anf bottom of each fraction appropriately.

7/9 - 3/5 =

(7/9)*(5/5) - (3/5)*(9/9) =

(35/45) - (27/45) =

(35 - 27)/45 =
