if we have to round off a number to its nearest hundred, then we shall first see which number is at hundreds place and then the following towards that number's right

like in your question-4841 the number at hundreds place is 8 that is equal to 800.

towards its right is t 4 and 1 that are equal to 40+1=41.

in case of rounding off  to nearest 100, if the digits after the numbers are smaller than 50 then they will be round off to the digit at the hundreds place.

here,41<50 therefore 841 will be round off to 800 and the complete answer is 4800.
