The conjecture isn't complete. If the conjecture was "area over volume is always a fraction" then it has meaning. Then we may have to see if the conjecture was always true, always false, or sometimes true, and perhaps under what conditions it was true or false. A conjecture is a proposition or guess that may or may not be true.

(This conjecture is not always true. If we have a cube measuring 1/2 cm length, width and height, then its volume is 1/8 cc while the area of any one side is 1/4 sq cm, so numerically area/volume = 2 which is not a fraction.)
