Do you mean: 4x-32x-2=82x?

If so, we can see that 4=22 and 8=23, so:

22(x-3)2x-2=26x,

22x-6+x-2=26x, 23x-8=26x,

3x-8=6x, 3x=-8, x=-8/3.
