whats the answer to: v-4/5=3/8
Algebra 1,Solving One Step Equation,Please help m out asap.

v - 4/5 = 3/8
v = 3/8 + 4/5

In order to add the fractions, you must change them so they
have a common denominator. Multiply the denominators: 8 * 5 = 40

(3/8)  * (5/5) = 15/40
(4/5) * (8/8) = 32/40

v = 15/40 + 32/40
v = 47/40
v = 1 7/40
