strate line thru 2 points: (-2,7) (x,4)... slope=-1/2... deltax=x+2, deltay=4-7=-3... slope=deltay/deltax=-3/(x+2)=-0.5... 3=(x+2)/2, x+2=6, x=4....point 2=(4,4), deltax=6
