Angles are often expressed in degrees, minutes and seconds. 60 seconds=1 minute, 60 minutes=1 degree. If the angle is in decimal form, for example, 30.50417°. Take the whole number: this is degrees, so we have 30°. Now take the fraction part 0.50417 and multiply by 60: 30.25 (approx): this is minutes, so we have 30'. Take the fraction part 0.25 and multiply by 60: 15 seconds. The angle is therefore 30°30'15".
