Not sure if you consider this problem pre-calc. What method do you use to find the answers? For positive roots, do they mean roots to the right of 0 on the x-axis?

x^3 -3x-1... me get 1 anser...x=-0.347297 bi iterate... divide...(x^3 -3x-1) / (x+0.0347297) giv x^2 +0.347297x -1.95811... put that intu quadratik equashun & it giv roots=1.2364096 & -1.5837066...
