9x^2 = -18x to solve you need to set it to 0

9x^2 + 18x = 0

9x(x + 2) = 0

9x = 0 or x + 2 = 0

x = 0 or x = -2

CHECK:

9* 0^2 + 18(0) = 0

yes true

9*(-2)^2 + 18(-2) = 0

9*4 - 36 = 0

36 - 36 = 0 yes true

therefore x = 0, -2
