I have worked on this tons of times and still can not understand. My worksheet says that the answer is 126.5. But no matter how i work it out i do not get that answer. Please help me i would really appreciate it.

6 ^ 4 sqrt(2a + 3) = 24

sqrt(2a + 3) = 24/6 ^4

sqrt (2a + 3) = 2/36

sqrt(2a+ 3) = 1/18

2a + 3 = 1/18^2

2a + 3 = 1/ 324

2a = 1/324 - 3*324/324

2a = 1/324 - 972/324

2a = -971/324

a = -1942/324 or -5 322/324
