Question: how can you make 3 + 2 squared + 3 x 4 -1 = 36 and 34 using parenthesis?

Method 1

(3 + 2)^2 + (3*4) - 1 = 25 + 12 - 1 = 36

Method 2

(3 + 2)^2 + 3*(4 - 1) = 25 + 9 = 34
