It doesn't matter what you call it- height vs. depth, etc.- as long as you understand it's the missing dimension you're talking about.

The volume of a chip would be ( (44.5*54)/2 ) * depth = 1201.5 * depth.

The volume of 30 chips would be 36045 * depth.

170 cm^3 = 170000 mm^3

170000 = 36045 * depth

4.71632681371 = depth

One chip has a depth of about 4.72 mm.

30 chips have a depth of about 141.49 mm, or about 14.15 cm
