2^(3x-1) +(1/6)/7 =6

become 2^(3x-1)+(1/42)=6

or 2^(3x-1)=6*42=252

take log tu base=1...

(3x-1)*(log2(2))=log2(252)

3x-1=log2(252)

log2(252)=7.977279923499917=3x-1

3x=8.977279923499917

x=8.977..../3

=2.9924266411666393
