maebee yu tri tu impli sumwon draw a triangel on 2-D paper

Then sumwon projekt the triangel up (90 deg tu base???)

If so, volume=hite*area av base

Triangel area=its base*its-hite/2

me thank yu tri tu impli TRIANGEL base=10cm & hite=12, triangel area=10*12/2=6*10=60 cm^2

Then yer 3-d thang...hite= (volume=510) / (triangel area=60)

=8.5cm

Because the prism has a uniform shape and cross-section, the height is the volume divided by the area of the isosceles triangle. The area of the triangle = 1/2 * base * height  = 1/2 * 10 * 12 = 60 sq cm. therefore the height is 510/60  = 8.5 cm.
