if y= 2x+3 and x<2, Which of the following represents all the possible values for y?
I need help with a homework problem and cant find the answer. Is it (y<7), (y>7), (y<5), (y>5), or (5<y<7)?

If x were 2, y = 2x + 3, y = 2(2) + 3, y = 4 + 3, y = 7
However, the problem states that x is less than 2, so y has to be less than 7

The answer is y < 7
