Remove fractions by multiplying through by 16: 4x-2=1-2x. So 6x=3 and, dividing through by 6, x=1/2.

Given 1/4x-1/8=1/16-2x
1/4x+2x=1/16+1/8
9x/4-3/16=0
9x/4=3/16
x=1/12
