v^2 + 14 = - 9v

v^2 + 9v + 14= 14 = 7*2 and 7+2 = 9

(x+7)(x+2)= 0

x = -  7 and x = - 2

Given v^2+14=-9v
v^2+9v+14=0
v^2+7v+2v+14=0
v(v+7)+2(v+7)=0
(v+7)(v+2)=0
v=-7 or -2
