2% grade would be how much drop per foot

im installing a handy cap ramp that has to be at a 2% grade , how much drop per foot would that be ?

2% is 2/100=1/50. That grade is a drop of 1ft in 50ft. In other words, after 1 foot along the ramp there would be a drop of 1/50 of a foot, which is 12/50=0.24 of an inch (less than 1/4”).
