Shirt is 20% less original price, which is $5 more than sale, what is the original price?
x + 5 = .20x  How do you solve?

The equation is wrong.

The price is reduced by 20%, and the difference in price is $5, therefore
$5 is 20% of the original price.

0.2x = $5
x = $5/0.2
x = $25

The original price is $25.
20% of $25 is $5.
The sale price is $25 - $5 = $20.
