u see a cuboid is also known as a rectangular prism.and the total surface area of a cuboid is given by 2((length*width)+(width*height)+(length*height)).here we have length=5 cm ,width=6 cm and height =2 cm.so total surface area=2*((5*6)+(6*2)+(5*2))sq.cm=2*(30+12+10)sq cm=(2*52)sq cm=104 sq.cm

note that * denotes multiplication .

The process to solves some rectangular prism is surface area = 2 * the quantity of (length*width)+(width*height)+(length*height) and you will have the answer if the process that you make is corect.

Just remember that the SA is surface area

the formula of a rectangular prism is:

[(LxW) + (WxH) + (HxL)] x 2

meaning [(6x2) + (5x6) + (5x2)] x 2
