Cost is 49+0.43N where N is the number of cones. If he sells N cones his sales are 1.1N. To make a profit 1.1N>49+0.43N, so subtract 0.43N from each side: 0.67N>49, and N>49/0.67, making N>73. So he must make and sell 74 to break even (making a small profit of $0.58) and more than this to make a clear profit.
