Problem: if y=0 than what are the stepsto finding y=3x+1
if you have the equation of y=3x+1 and y=0 than what are the steps to findingg the answer

y = 3x + 1
0 = 3x + 1

That's the same as

3x + 1 = 0
3x + 1 - 1 = 0 - 1
3x = -1
3x/3 = -1/3
x = -1/3
