Simplifying
5.6 + 1.5x = 2.5x

Solving
5.6 + 1.5x = 2.5x

Solving for variable 'x'.

Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right.

Add '-2.5x' to each side of the equation.
5.6 + 1.5x + -2.5x = 2.5x + -2.5x

Combine like terms: 1.5x + -2.5x = -1x
5.6 + -1x = 2.5x + -2.5x

Combine like terms: 2.5x + -2.5x = 0.0
5.6 + -1x = 0.0

Add '-5.6' to each side of the equation.
5.6 + -5.6 + -1x = 0.0 + -5.6

Combine like terms: 5.6 + -5.6 = 0.0
0.0 + -1x = 0.0 + -5.6
-1x = 0.0 + -5.6

Combine like terms: 0.0 + -5.6 = -5.6
-1x = -5.6

Divide each side by '-1'.
x = 5.6

Simplifying
x = 5.6.

Do the same thing on that problem. That will might help you able to do the problem.
