The box's dimensions are L=1.5m, W=1.25m and H (or depth) =0.65m. There are 5 faces, because the top is absent.

We have to work out LW (base) + 2LH + 2WH (sides and ends) = LW + 2H(L+W) = 1.5*1.25 + 2*0.65(1.5 + 1.25) = 1.875 + 1.30*2.75  = 5.45 sq m.

Just fold up the sides and ends around the base to make the box.
