If r=regular hourly pay then 30 hours pays 30r. 5 hours at 1.4r is 7r so total pay for 35 hours is (30+7)r=436.60. So r=436.60/37=$11.80 per hour. 30 hours' pay is $354 and 5 hours at $16.52 (1.4 * $11.80) is $82.60; 354+82.60=$436.60.
