($1.75+2x$0.25+5x$0.05)x24

BODMAS is a mnemonic for the order of operations and stands for,

B = brackets

O = order or power

DM = division and multiplication

AS = addition and subtraction

B comes before O which comes before DM which comes before AS.

We have a bracket in our expression, so we work out its value first.

($1.75+2x$0.25+5x$0.05)

within the bracket we have two M operations, 2x$0.25 and 5x$0.05, which come to $0.50 and $0.25.

This gives us for the bracket,

($1.75 + $0.50 + $0.25) = $2.50

Our expression now becomes,

($2.50)*24 = $48.00 + $12.00 = $60.00

Answer: $60.00
