The LCM of 14 and 8 is N = 7*8 = 56 Lowest common multiple of 14 and 8

Let N be the LCM of 14 and 8.

Then N is divisible by 14. i.e. N is divisible by 2 and 7.

Also,

N is divisible by 8, and 8 = 2^3

Then N is divisible by 7 and 8 (if divisible by 8, then it is also divisible by 2)

The LCM of 14 and 8 is 7*8 = 7*8 = 56
