The two angles RMN and NMT are equal because the bisector MN cuts the angle RMT in half.

So 8x-19=2x+17, 8x-2x=17+19, 6x=36, so x=6. Therefore each angle must be 29°.

2x+17=2×6+17=12+17=29; 8x-19=8×6-19=48-19=29. Angle RMT is 58°.
