the formula for finding the Tn is:  Tn=T1 - 4(n-1)   instead of T1 we can use the number 12 since this is the

T1 for this sequence. So we will have  Tn = 12 - 4(n-1)  since the Tn we re trying to find out is -96 we will

have:  -96 = 12 - 4(n-1)  ->>  -96 = 12 - 4n + 4  and solving for n  we have:  -96 - 12 - 4 = -4n  ->>

-112 = - 4n   and.  n = -112 / - 4  =  28  so Tn=T28
