A school bought 1500 boxes of marks. 60% of them were black marks. image of the color marks were red and the remaining were blue. What percent of the marks were blue marks?

the black marks are 1500 x 0.60 = 900 so the color marks are 1500 - 900 = 600

the red marks are 600 x (3/5) = 360 so the blue marks are 600-360 = 240

the percentage of the blue marks is (240/1500) x 100 = 16%
