A wife “W” watches a certain TV show is 0.46, her husband “H” watches it is 0.38,  both watch the show is 0.11. What is the probability, to two decimal places, that either the husband or the wife watches this show?

The probability is the sum of the individual probabilities less the probability that H and W both watch the TV show=0.84-0.11=0.73.
