A right angle is the interior angle for all the angles in a square or rectangle.

A right angle is the angle subtended at the circumference of a circle by any diameter.

It's the basis for Pythagoras' Theorem and trigonometric ratios (all right-angled triangles). Its sine is 1 (the maximum value for the sine of an angle) and its cosine is 0. There can be at most one right angle in a triangle.

It's the angle bisector of a straight line.

It's the fundamental angle in the design of most buildings (horizontally and vertically).

It's neither an acute angle nor an obtuse angle.
