Let price of a basket ball be b

Let price of a vollyball be v.

Given price of 5 basketball and 6 vollyball is 325 dollars

or 5b + 6v = 325   -----------------------(1)

Also, cost of single basketball costs 10 more than volleyball.

 or b= v+10          -------------------------(ii)

Substituting the value of (ii) in (i) we get:

5(v+10) + 6v = 325

or 5v + 50 +6v = 325

or 11v +50 =325

or 11v = 325-50

or 11v = 275

or v = 275/11 = 25

Now putting the value of v in equation (ii) we get:

b = v+10

or b = 25+10 = 35

So cost of a single basketball is $35.

And cost of a single volleyball is $25
