I used a formula of speed=distance/time here and i got 15 m/s but i am not quite sure since the answer sheet i have has 54 km/hr. Why was it converted into that?

The whole train has to clear the bridge and its own length, a distance of 330m + 120m=450m=0.450km.

It does this in 30secs=0.5min=1/120 hrs.

Speed=distance/time=0.450×120=54kph.
