7x-3y+5=16 and 4y=3x+17
Solve the system of equations and enter the solution as an ordered pair.

Equation 1:
7x-3y+5=16
7x - 3y = 11

Equation 2:
4y=3x+17
-3x + 4y = 17

Eliminate the y terms; multiply equation 1 by 4, multiply
equation 2 by 3, then add the two resulting equations.

4 * (7x - 3y) = 4 * 11               28x - 12y = 44
3 * (-3x + 4y) = 3 * 17             -9x + 12y = 51
                                           -----------------------
Add --->                               19x           = 95
19x = 95
x = 5

Substitute that into the second equation and solve for y.

4y = 3*5 + 17
4y = 15 + 17
4y = 32
y = 8

The answer is (5,8)
