1/2 -1/8=420 gallons=3/8 av tank

tank=(8/3)*420=3360/3=1120

420/3=140

420+140=560

560*2=1120
by
1/ 2 - 1/8

1/2 (x4) - 1/8 = 3/8

3/8 =420 (lets find what 1/8 is)

429/ 3 = 140

140 x 8 ( because a full tank is 8/8) = 1120 gallon of water
