8x2+26x-7=(2x+7)(4x-1); 4x2+28x+49=(2x+7)2; so quotient is:

(2x+7)(4x-1)/(2x+7)2=(4x-1)/(2x+7) (x cannot be -7/2).

4x-1=2(2x+7)-15, so (4x-1)/(2x+7)=(2(2x+7)-15)/(2x+7)=2-15/(2x+7).
